From The Blanc Nuit Show

On January 31 (Saturday), the Nuit Blanche Show presented by Boulevard Agency and Studio Red gathered more than 100 people at the Patch Thibaud Auditorium. This was a show featuring four designers, Ashoka Eales of “Phoenix Rising”, Nardya Rousselot of “Nardcotix“, Kieran Debevec of “Chloe (jewelry)” and Lion Jonesford of “Lion Skins.”

It was a very exciting show and an awesome runway design with Boulevard models not only strutting the runway but also placed as props in the magnificent outfits, jewelry and skins from the featured designers. I was honoured that I had the opportunity to take part in this show although I must say that lag was really bad, making the walk and outfit change extremely challenging. The show ended in a great success and I wish to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in making this possible and my fellow models who all did a great job in that aweful lag.

So here are the outfits I wore in this show for those of you who couldn’t come.

The first one is an outfit called “Nardya Noir No.1″ by Nardcotix matched with the “Time Set Silver” set from Chloe and Turquoise Pinup shoes from Stiletto Moody. The shoes was styled by Stiletto Moody who took the turquoise blue of the brooch and came up with this lovely coloured shoes. So I decided to play on the blue too ending up with a slightly blue-ish black hair and blue eyes (which I usually never wear).

The skin used in this show were all from the “Noir” series from Lion Skins which were a special edition of the new “SU” line of skins that Lion developed specifically for this show. They are, however, all on sale in her store, so if you like them, it would be worth a visit. By the way, if you think you can’t find them, try tp’ing up to the roof top.

All the photographs used here, with the exception of the last close up shots in each group were taken by Tillie Ariantho and Sharron Shumann during the show.

I will post some of the outfits from these brands on another opportunity as this post will become way too long. But I will just say that I loved them!

1. NardcotixNardya Noir No.1

Lion Skins – Noir 20

Outfit: Nardcotix, Nardya Noir No.1
Jewelry: Chloe, Time Set Silver
Shoes: Stiletto Moody, Pinup (Turqoise Patent)
Hair: Tsukinowaguma, Karen (black)
Skin: Lion Skins, Noir 20

The next one was also from Nardcotix called “Nardya Noir No.13″ and it was actually a gradated gray gown with extravagant fur used around the whole neck/chest area. It was a very elegant and yet sweet outfit. The jewelry used here are from Alienbear who also provided jewelry for the show.

2. NardcotixNardya Noir No.13

Lion Skins – Noir 11

Outfit: Nardcotix, Nardya Noir No.13
Jewelry: Alienbear Design, Silverster Set White
Shoes: Stiletto Moody, Pinup (Grey Stripe Patent Python)
Hair: Tsukinowaguma, Talicam (black)
Skin: Lion Skins, Noir 11

The last outfit I wore was from Phoenix Rising called Inner Wrappings (Red). Here it is worn as a mini one piece dress but you are given a choice of wearing it as you see here in the pics or as a shirt + pants set. This was a most sweet mini dress with an interesting prim skirt shape.

3. Phoenix Rising – Inner Wrappings (Red)

Lion Skins – Noir 16

Outfit: Phoenix Rising, Inner Wrappings (Red)
Earrings: Chloe, Dimensions Earrings (Gold)
Shoes: Stiletto Moody, Pinup (Orange Peel Patent)

Eshi Otawara’s New Winter/Spring Collection

On December 13 (Sat), Eshi Otawara of Chambre de Chocolat, released her new collection which is now called the Eshi Otawara Collection. A fashion show at the Patch Thibauld Auditorium kicked off her new collection which is now available in her new store at Blumfield.

The entire new collection is inspired by Japan. Eshi’s late husband was a martial artist who had great knowledge about Japan and it’s culture and likewise, Eshi has a deep love for the culture which was portrayed not only in her new collection, but her new store which is built like an old Japanese house that you might see in Samurai movies.

The collection also has Japanese names such as “Kiku (Chrysanthemum)”, “Koi (Carp)”, “Kunoichi (female ninja)” and the new limited edition gown she launched together with this collection which she only sold 5 pieces was called “Kabuki”. Most of the outfits except for the “Blossoms” series are full of sculpt prim parts that create a very interesting silhouette while the “Blossoms” series look like dainty pants style kimino that looks a bit like a Vietnamese costume. All outfits come in various colour variations.

She now also has skins that match the outfits that resemble Kabuki theatre make-up in her store.

Rather than trying to explain the collection, let me show you some pictures and also a video that was made with the show she did on Saturday.
