Blessings In My Life – Vero Modero, So Serious Dress

About a month ago, I was blessed to have a 5 months old baby owl come into my life which, I must admit, threw my life into another animal frenzy…but surely a very happy one for that matter.

I have always had an admiration for raptors, or birds of prey, ever since I had a falcon follow me flying right close to me one day when I was riding my motorcycle alone in the mountains of Japan.  I turned my head while riding and my eyes met his.  Of course there was no words, but I was 100% sure we had a silent ‘connection’ at that moment. He flew along me for quite some distance and when he finally parted to go his way, he looked at me once more as if to say goodbye.  It was truly a magical moment I will never forget and ever since that day, I have developed this special admiration and love towards these amazing creatures.

OK, my owl, Popo, is not EXACTLY a falcon.  He is only about 20 cm tall (a little over half a feet) and he is hardly as fierce-looking as a falcon.  I must say, he is more comical and he makes me laugh just looking at him because of his big round eyes that make him look as if he is always surprised.  And more than anything he is a blessing.  When I take him to the park for a stroll, he makes everybody happy.  I think he has that special power. 🙂

So when I saw a notice in my group about a new release from Vero Modero that had an eagle printed on the entire dress, I simply dropped everything I was doing and 20 seconds later, I was already in the store, ready to surrender my wallet to this amazing outfit.

The bag I have here was another timely blessing!  Right after I styled this with a black shoulder bag, my great friend Kimmera Madison, owner and creator of Tres Beau, sent this bag to me as a gift.  She made this one-of-a-kind Pikachu bag for me and as you can see, it even comes with a label that says “Kay”!  Thank you, Kimmera, for this cute bag!  I just love it! ❤

I thank all the wonderful blessings I have the pleasure of encountering in my life.  🙂

Spring Is (Almost) Here! Spring Casual Look With Mon Tissu

It’s still cold outside on most days but recently I am noticing that on some sunny days, the temperature is not as low as it had been and we get spasms of warmer weather.  We are not there yet but spring is definitely coming closer!

Today, it was one of those nice sunny days and I decided to take my pet owl out to the park after I have done my rounds with my dogs.  He is still only six months old and he is getting used to my dogs but still not quite comfortable when they get too close.  So I still have to take them out separately just so that my owl doesn’t get too nervous with the excited dogs.  He is a tiny owl and won’t grow any bigger and it’s really funny to watch him go very thin when he sees a big dog such as a Labrador or a Golden Retriever because he is afraid but when he sees small dogs like Chiwawas, he spreads his wings out as much as he can, opens his already big eyes even bigger and tries to threaten the Chiwawas, who usually don’t even care that my tiny owl is doing his best to scare them.

With spring so close, I just felt like getting my wardrobe ready for the pleasant season also so I dropped by at one of the stores I liked very much for high quality casual fashion, mon tissu.  The store had many outfits that got my attention but for today, I decided that I wanted to style with lots of flowers!  So I made a look using lots of pretty spring colours and lots of flowers to celebrate the arrival of my favorite season.

I am hoping that very soon, I will be able to go to the park with all four of us (me, two dogs and my owl) wearing something similarly fun. 🙂

So We Are Jumping From Spring To Summer?!

Ayiki, Vintage Flower Beachwear

It’s still cold where I live and I just started to think about spring fashion when already, some brands are coming out with beach wear!  How time flies!  lol

So here I am reporting about a brand new beach wear that was just released from a brand called Cre@ction Shop.  This set includes, a bikini, wide brim hat, a scarf tied around the wrist, a pair of cute sunglasses, a tank top (mesh), mini skirt (mesh) and even a pair of flip-flops all with the same flower fabric!  With this much items in the set, you can mix n match the items and have fun with the styling, but here I used other brand items for the accessories as it would look a bit too much if I styled it all with the same fabric.

This cute pair of sunglasses I am wearing in the pictures was something I found in a military store!  o.O  Of course, I never thought I would find anything “cute” like this in that store so this was a real find.

The bracelet I am wearing here is an ID bracelet and you can add your own name using a HUD.  It’s very easy and you can even click on the bracelet to change it into four different colour schemes!  This will be such a fun and casual accessory piece for this summer.
