Apocalypse

I styled this mix n match look to go with the theme of “apocalyptic”.  I had loads of fun styling this!

I asked Daron Brandeis if he could take pics of it and he took some amazing shots!  The set was built by his fiancée, Sazzy Nirpaw and just look what the set did to the pic!

We then thought we might also try another approach to this and Daron suggested a black background.  This turned out amazing also!

SLTV Live TV Fashion Program "The Runway" featured brand - Egoisme

Today was the first show in 2012 for my bi-weekly live TV fashion program, “SLTV – The Runway” in SL Japan, and today we featured Egoisme, inviting designer, Ramses Meredith, as our featured designer.

We had a great show and a good laugh while Ramses showed some of his new releases for this winter.

These are the names of the models who modeled in this show.  All female models were from Dione Fashion Agency joined by guest male models.

And this was the outfit I wore, although I changed the makeup a bit after the show.

Egoisme - Mink Outfit for Women + Trendy Leather Pants (Zebra Leather)

The skin used here as well as the makeup is from Egoisme also, featuring the latest skin, Sora in pale skin tone.  The skins sold here are all basic skins in different skin tones.  The pack will include skins with eyebrows and no eyebrows.  Then for every skin, there is a big set of makeup tattoos as well as eyebrow tattoos sold.  So you can just use the eyebrow on the skin or opt to wear one without and choose a different eyebrow to go with it.

Makeups are extensive and each skin set has its own set of makeup tattoos.  During the TV show, Ramses explained that he envisions a type of women he wants to create in RL first.  Then he creates skins for that women creates makeups which that particular type of women might wear, which explains the different makeup sets available for each skin type.

Gizza - Dark Feather Series II

Gizza’s Dark Feather Series runs from I to IV and here I am introducing Dark Feather Series II.  All four outfits in this series are very cool black outfits with feathers used as ornaments.

Here, I wore it with a plain black leggings and ankle boots from sYs Design.  sYs Design is well known for it’s cyber fashion items but non-cyber fashion can use a lot of what they have too.

I also wore a new jewelry set released by Kunglers from it’s Kungler Extra brand, which is their jewelry line that is sold in another building from their clothes.  The Kungler sisters are really pulling out some interesting jewelry pieces and if you are looking for some pieces with impact, this is definitely a place to check out.

Here I wore a pair of olive coloured stockings from Friday with this outfit and used bright green glitter eye-shadow to make a B/W + green look.  I also wore bright green pumps which is a new released item from Nardcotix.

Entre Mares has a lovely white gown released in Fan Limited Store..  It’s a gorgeous mermaid gown and I loved the white colour of the gown that I can wear without looking like a bride.

Diram Has A New Collection Out! – GAGALICIOUS

djod Karu of Diram has just released her new collection which she calls “GAGALICIOUS“.  It consists of 6 fabulously smexy outfits which includes one gown which is unusual for Diram.  But it didn’t turn out to be just another sweet and pretty gown.  It is elegant and smexy but yet keeps the fierce and cool image that Diram designs have always been known for.

So here I have two outfits from this 6 outfit collection.  Lady Gaga – MTV, which is the gown and Lady Gaga – Judas, which is another sexy and fierce outfit that I so love Diram for.

DIRAM – Lady Gaga “MTV”

This gown has fierce looking pointy studs attached to the bust line and the skirt shape is just gorgeous!  Here I used the new hair, Lexington, from Vanity Hair and the new jewelry set from Chop Zuey that was so perfect for this gown with the black and white diamonds used to create a black and white design.

And the second outfit, Judas, is my other fav.  What I liked the most was the red lining of this studded short jacket which looks so cool!  So I styled it with red boots and jewelry both from Pixel Fashion and glitter makeup from VoguE.  The boots come with a colour change feature where you can change the colour to red, dark red (used here), orange and yellow.

The bandana that is tied around my head comes as part of the Judas set.  And I used a red tinted hair from Tukinowaguma to play with the red.

Countdown New Release, Midori Gown

Countdown has been releasing new outfits at an amazing speed ever since the store opened in September of last year.  And this is one of the new releases that was released right before Christmas.

It is a gorgeous wedding gown called Midori Gown that comes with a very unique but lovely head piece with a veil that looks more like a glowing stream of light.

The outfit set comes with a pair of white pumps that is also sold separately in the store as Countdown, Gogo Pumps in white.

MVW Gown From Elan Now In 8 Colours!

Alatiel Malies‘ new brand Elan made the Miss Virtual World evening gown for Miss Thailand in the Miss Virtual World Grand Finals that was held on December 17th last year.  Since then, the MVW gown that Miss Thailand, DiamondGem Destiny, wore has been released in the store with an additional 7 new colours!  That’s 8 colours in all!

This gown, made by Alatiel for Elan, is a very feminine style with very soft lovely colours and now it is available in black, blue, red, cream pastel green, pastel light blue, pastel pink, white and rose. Here, I wore the rose colour of the DiamondGem MVW Gown with a jewelry set from a la folie, which now has a jewelry section in the store.

A Gorgeous Winter Look from ALB Dream Fashion

AnaLee Balut of ALB Dream Fashion had released a whole series of new male and female outfits.  The one I am wearing today is just one of the new releases.

ALB Dream Fashion has always been very unique in its designs as well as colours used and AnaLee creates her own world with her amazing creations.  In case you didn’t know, Mimmi Boa wore AnaLee’s off-the-rack gown when she won Miss Virtual World 2009!

As you can see, the coat itself is a gorgeous winter coat which uses the jacket layer, allowing it to be worn with other outfits.  The skin is a really glam skin and lashes in the set is amazing!  These too, can definitely be used with other outfits.

AZOURY – A Place For French Fashion

In December last year, BLVD Agency did a fashion show for AZOURY and I must admit, I completely fell in love!

Designer of AZOURY, Mayhem Seetan, has many items using mesh, which is the new technology in SL fashion, but she also has many that only uses conventional prims.  This outfit was one of her new releases which does not use mesh so it’s also good for those who are not sure yet about wearing mesh outfits.

AZOURY – La Tenue Shining

The designs by Mayhem can best be described as fashionable and unique using great colour combination which can only be achieved by talented people who have an eye for colours.  As for design, the outfit I am wearing here demonstrates how Mayhem can take a simple mini dress and add elements that make it unique and stylish.  In this case, for example, the use of the orange tights adds so much to the entire look as well as the bi-coloured high collar.  And I love how she made the sleeves very sheer!

Most outfits have shoes that match and complete the look as in this one.  Flat shoes tastefully done are items I like in RL too.  Stylish flat shoes can sometimes make a look REALLY fashionable and I must say this look is something I would definitely wear in RL!

As I wrote in my earlier post, I had an emergency happen in RL which had since prevented me from going on a major shopping spree but AZOURY is definitely going to a store I need to raid!
