Sexy New Launch From Styles of edo

Mami Jewell, designer for all female outfits at Styles of edo has just launched yet another very sexy gown, “Mojito Royal (pronounced mohito).” It’s practically all glitter!!

The reason why it’s call Mojito Royal is because she has also launched “Mojito,” a shorter, knee length version of this gown. The basic form of the gown is kept very simple, which is probably the reason why this gown does not look “over done” even with all the glitter. The gown comes in seven colours; black, red, blue, green, orange, pink and silver. This is going to be a tough decision to make which one to get!!

The gowns that Mami has been introducing had all been extremely well made and sexy. “Mojito Royal” is certainly another addition to her line of sexy outfits that can be worn to any party or a romantic dance in a ballroom.

Here I matched a classic pearl necklace with ruby ornaments as any gem based jewelry will be a bit too much glitter.

Italian Fashion: OC Orage Creations

I had a hat that I bought some time ago that had a skelton on it. Yes it sounds spooky but if you look at it carefully, the skeleton has a loveable face (lol) and even looks kind of cute. But I have to admit, it was hard to match with outfits.

BUT…………..

In a store I visited in an Italian fashion district, I found an outfit that was just so perfect for this hat that I couldn’t believe my eyes at first! I just HAD to get this!

It was an outfit from OC Orage Creations, a store that sells outfits designed and made by Eletta Gausman, an Italian designer. What’s amazing about both this hat and outfit is that even if the theme of the texture is roses and skeleton, the whole thing looks very fashionable…nothing dark about it. I liked how the outfit is kept very simple too. Since the texture is rather colourful and bold, the simple design balances out in a nice way.

So here is my “cute skeleton” look.

Italian Fashion: Anubis Style

I went to see a fashion show in which my great friend models were appearing in. It was for Anubis Style and I loved it! The show was great but as I was fearing…….I couldn’t come out of it without spending my Lindens! Argh…….

So here are the two I got. Precious Blue and Bluemoon.

Hmmm….I wonder if I was in a “blue” mood. Well, at least I wasn’t “blue” in mood at all! But for some reason, ended up getting outfits both with “blue” in their names.

Designer, Anubis Hartunian, seems to be very good at using transparent prims effectively to come up with very interesting prim skirts. Her outfits have somewhat of a dynamic image from what I saw at the show, an element I loved about her outfits.

So here they are. The two blues – Precious Blue and Bluemoon.

A New Wedding Gown Store Opens!! (One Free Wedding Gown To Go!)

Are you planning for a wedding soon and looking for sweet wedding gowns? Maybe you also need outfits for the bridemaids?

I came across Wen’s Wedding Dreams, a store that opened just 2 weeks ago by designer and creator, Wen Winkler. She is also the VP and designer of OMG Inc., a store that sells a wide variety of outfits for both men and women that ranges from formal to casual as well as accessories such as hats. But Wen decided to open her own store to offer her wedding outfits to the dreaming ladies who were looking for lovely gowns to make their wedding day a day they will never forget. Her gowns are offered at reasonable prices and if you can’t find what you are looking for, she is happy to talk and do custom work.

I have to admit, I wasn’t looking for a wedding gown specifically, but since wedding gown stores often have nice regular gowns also, I thought I might drop by. After I saw her collection, I thought it might be nice to introduce her store to all those ladies who are looking for nice gowns at reasonable prices.

So here are two of her creations. The magenta gown had a great texture that showed the creases and the glitter part so well, while the wedding gown was simply so sweet! But now, after I purchased these, I realized that I had nowhere to wear the wedding gown!!!!

So…………

If you wish to have this gown, please tell me when your wedding date is planned for and send me a notecard and of course, your full name. The first one who sends it in will receive this wedding gown that I am showing here in my blog. If I get a lot, I will not be able to respond to all the applicants, so if you don’t hear from me, I am sorry but the gown has already been sent to one very lucky and happy lady. I will send this gown with my best wishes for a wonderful wedding and many happy and romantic days to follow.

Now let me show you what I got.

"Farfalla" from Styles of edo

One of the latest releases from “Styles of edo” is “Farfalla.” Mami Jewell is the designer and creator of all female outfits at “Styles of edo” and she has come up with yet another outfit that makes us feel sexy and in style.

Farfalla, which means butterfly, is probably one of Mami’s most gorgeous outfits. It has a top that is adorned by detailed embroidery which she had always been very good at. An extensive embroidery is added to the hem area of the skirt as well. The most astounding thing about this outfit, however, is the attension Mami gives to details. Just as an example, take a look at the see through part of the bodice. You can see how the crease made on this texture looks so real and also how the front and back textures match up in terms of position of the creases. These are tiny details for sure. But it is because of such detailed attention and care that Mami gives to her creations that her outfits have such a quality look overall.

The colours are lovely too. It comes in black and red of course as these are the most popular colours but the other colours are all lovely subtle shades that add so much to the delicacy of the outfit. The colour variations are aquamarine (blue), garnet (red), onyx (black), emerald (green), amethyst (purple) and topaz (light brown).

And here are all the colours.

Farfalla – Aquamarine

An Exciting New Release From Chambre de Chocolat

I had been waiting for this moment! Eshi Otawara of Chambre de Chocolat, who has been releasing the most creative outfits such as the “Fishhook Dress”, “Three Woodpecker Dress”, “Julliet Gown” and “Black Phoenix” had come up with another exciting release! “Hibiscus Dream”, released today, is a most lovely and dreamy outfit that takes its form from a hibiscus flower, a flower with extravagant petals and an almost divine beauty.

The outfit comes with three types of clothing layers that is adorned with the petal prims that attach to both legs. The one I am wearing here in called “painted” but there is also a “petal” which is all red and “leaf” which is green. So you choose which one you want to wear and attach the two prim parts that form the gorgeous petal parts.

What looks like particles here are in fact, graphics on a transparent texture that almost looks as if you are emitting particles. In fact, I wore this to a dance hall and was immediately approached by a hostess who thought I was emitting particles. I have to admit, initially, I thought they were particles too!!

This was a love at first sight for me and I am still excited over this great outfit!!

Today, I matched it with jewelries from “the Golden Flower” which will are released very soon. It’s a most charming set that contains a necklace, bracelet and earrings, all colour change so you can change the colours of both the pearl as well as the metal parts to match whatever outfit you want to wear them with.

Outfit: Chambre de Chocolat, Hibiscus Dream by Eshi Otawara
Necklace, bracelet and earrings: The Golden Flower, Girly Ariadne Luxurious
Hair: Exxess Designs, Doggy (black)
Shoes: Stiletto Moody, Pinup (red)

It’s Getting Cooler And I Got A New Coat

OK, I know it’s still hot in many parts of the world, and even it places where they have winter, it’s not THAT cold yet. But my mind is starting to think jackets, coats, boots….all the fun fashion items that are good for winter (yes, yes, I know we don’t really feel any chill or heat for that matter…). That was my mind set when I spotted this new short coat from Baiastice. It wasn’t a new release, but being a serious shopaholic, any new item in my inventory is an excitement for me.

It’s particularly exciting when the item looks interesting…..by interest, I mean unusual shape, unusual colour, anything that has a unique feature to it.

This short coat from Baiastice was exactly that. Interesting shape, interesting texture, my fav colours. So how could I resist? Here I pictured myself going to a nice party on a chilly day. Not VERY cold, but cold enough to wear something as a coat but still look stylish even when I was wearing my coat.

Short coat: Baiastice, Seagull
Leggings: Mimikri, Roma Leggins (black)
Tank top: plus, Snake Top in Black (I know you can’t see it, but it’s there!)
Hat: Chapeau Tres Mignon, Golightly Hat White
Boots: Bax Coen Designs, Snakeskin boots
Nails: bijou, Nail Deep Dream (night)

A Cool Racing Jacket

A really cool racing jacket was released by Drawmachine!! I just had to get this being a great race fan for both car and bike races myself! This was a new store for me and the moment I stepped inside, I was soooooo excited to see the items it had. There were also some sexy outfits that based its designs on racing but I wanted something more real….something I could wear if I were to race in SL. The jacket came in 5 colours; red, blue, green (more like Kawasaki lime green), yellow and sand. After taking ages to make up my mind between yellow and lime green, I decided to go with yellow. One regret is that the jacket only comes with the zip opened. So no closed zip version. But that’s ok. It’s not like I need all that protection in SL.

I found a cool pair of biker boots too which was available for both male and female avatars. I loved the texture used for both the boots and jacket. It just looked so real!

So here, I wore the jacket more like a fashion item matching it up with a sweet jeans mini skirt which can also be worn as a pair of short pants. I also wore the latest released pair of sunglasses from my fav sunglass store, ottico. This is colour change too! So I can change the colour of the flame as well as the lens. I am showing it in black and yellow frames in the pics below just so that you can see how the colour can be changed. By the way, to change the colour, all you have to do is click on the sunglass and you will get a drop down menu where you can choose whether you want to change the flame or the lens colour, and then choose a colour from the next drop down menu.

Oh I am just so happy and excited that I found this! I can’t get enough of this racing jacket!
