Sascha’s Designs Releases La Seine

Sascha’s Designs has a new dress and it’s goooooooorgeous!

Sascha Frangilli, owner and designer of Sascha’s Designs has come up with an absolutely lovely dress for those who love something romantic to wear.

Sascha's Designs, La Seine in Cream

“La Seine” comes in different colours but as always with Sascha’s gowns, you can choose three different skirts, making this a very versatile outfit for your wardrobe.  The set, of course, includes a big long skirt and a slightly shorter skirt with ruffles in the upper part, which I wore here, but you can also choose to wear this outfit as a cocktail dress with a short mini skirt.  The hat I am wearing is also part of the set.

The jewelry set I wore here is a new release from Crystal Line which is colour and texture change.  What I love about this set is that the gem colours are changeable into soft and mellow colours such as the pale pink you see in this picture.

Sascha’s Designs, “Purity” Styled In Two Directions

Sascha's Designs, Purity

Sascha Frangilli, designer and owner of Sascha’s Designs, has just released two gorgeous gowns.  One white, called “Purity” and another black called “Tainted“.  Like most of her gowns, Sascha has included so many outfits parts that allow infinite styling possibilities.  She even includes three different pants layers and five different skirt shapes.  For the price you pay, which is very reasonable to begin with, this is so much value for your money!

Instead of blogging both gowns, I decided to try two totally different styling using the different outfit parts in the Purity set.  So here they are.

For the first look, I used the ‘split pants’ and ‘hip split swirl’ which is a half skirt that attached to the right leg, leaving the left leg bare.  I also tried a slightly fantasy look.  The Exile hairbase that I used here is an excellent hairbase set to have in your inventory as you can get a whole fatpack of different coloured hairbases for free at the Exile store.  You will find the vendor placed right in front where the new released hairs are sold.

And for the second look, I used the ‘full pants layer’, ‘skirt layer’, ‘fluffer skirt’ and ‘big collar’ in the Purity set.  The parts called ‘big collar’ is the elaborate bust hem and shoulder piece that you see in the pic below.

I took another shot just to show another top arrangement that the set allows.  Here I used a ‘stola’ instead of the ‘big collar.’  Actually the possibility is just too many and the blog post will end up way too long if I tried to show all.  But at least this will give you a glimpse of the variety of styling that is possible.

A Gorgeous Gown Released From Sascha’s Designs

Have you all noticed that what makes an SL outfit look good is the texture? Of course, the build, or rather in the case of outfits, the assembly itself can’t be crappy. That is for sure. But if you had two outfits that were both build well, what makes the different is a good texture.

The new release from Sascha’s Designs, Novice, is one such gown where texture has made a difference. The form itself is simple but with a texture that even the designer herself admits is one of the best she has created.

It comes in seven colour variations; Cognac, Royal Blue, Magenta, Lavender, Seagreen, Gold and Magnificent Red. Here I have worn Royal Blue. Cognac was also a very interesting colour which was a rich brown/red and I had a hard time deciding which I should wear. I think the only reason I am wearing Royal Blue is because it is summer and so hot! If this was autumn, I would have definitely gone to the other, Cognac.

The gown comes with three different skirt shapes, so you can choose from a slender gown to a full ballroom gown. Here I am wearing the one called “S ” skirt which flows out towards the bottom.

I matched this with a very simple hair so that the gown will speak more for itself, and also used this lovely jewelry set from “by Alexandar.” This jewelry store is a place you want to go if you are looking for coloured jewelry. The rich dark blue of the jewelry set added focus to the blue but I could also wear this with a clear diamond set (white jewelry) and in that case, wear a slightly bigger hair.

Jewelry: by Alexandar, Sylvie Collection Sapphire
Shoes: Haysuriza, EIRIS Pumps Pointed 1000 Classic (blue)

A New Release From Sascha’s Design

Sascha’s Designs’ new release, “Cafe Latte” was a chic cocktail dress with a delicate shawl that covers the shoulders and a delicate skirt. The colour is one I like very much. A soft brown that is both elegant and chic. But what really set this dress apart and made it very stylish was the sunglasses that was included in the set.

Sascha’s Designs – Cafe Latte

I used to work for a French boss who was a fashion guru and a celebrity figure in my country. She used to work for Dior and never betrayed our expectation to see the latest fashion on her. I used to look forward to seeing what she would come wearing every morning and see how she styled even a simple dress most exquisitely. I feel I learned so much about styling just watching her every day.

The reason why I brought her up was because these sunglasses reminded me of her. She always wore these very dark sunglasses and the moment I wore the one in this “Cafe Latte” set, the vision of her came to my mind in a flash.

So I set off to style myself to resemble her and even found hair that was exactly like the hair she used to have in real life.

She always had the most fashionable shoes and bags that were never used two days in a row. She changed her bag, jewelry, everything everyday to match her outfit that were chosen with the utmost care. She would match the most amazing colours together and achieve a fabulous look. So I thought what she would match with this delicate brown. I knew she wouldn’t match usual colours such as gold or any tone of brown or yellow. She would match colours that surprised people and yet impressed them with her choice.

So I chose a purple that was more like a plum colour for my shoes and bag. Not bad. Not bad at all. 🙂 But I still wonder what she would have chosen if this was her.

Perfect For Parties Both Formal And Fun!

Sascha’s Designs has a new outfit released called “All That Jazz.” What a fun name!! It already makes you think of all the fun times you can have with the outfit. 😀

And my expectations are not betrayed with the set that Sascha offers in this package. It comes in seven colours but here I am wearing the one colour coded as silver. All colours come with black skirts and it’s the glitter part where the colour changes. But no matter what colour you choose, you are assured of getting lots of glitters thats done in a very tasteful style.

Sascha’s Designs – All That Jazz

It has a long sleek skirt which I chose to wear with a boa collar that is also included and a shirt type that give you more exposure. This look can be described as sexy and glam. Here I tried wearing some necklace which I can if I attach it to spine as the boa is attached to chest. But with this boa, it seemed a bit “too much” so I decided to wear only earrings and a bracelet. I love wearing bracelets over gloves, in fact. I think it makes the whole outfit look rather elegant, but again, it depends on the outfit design.

Since the skirt is not a big one, I chose a hair that is a bit voluminous but still formal. This
one I used is a very recent release from Exile which moved to a new location. So any Exile fans out there, remember to take the surl below to go and grap a new LM if you haven’t yet.

Next, I wore the short skirt that was also in the set. So I changed the shirt to the other shirt that was in the set that has less exposure with a halter tank underneith. So this time, the boa collar goes. Now I have a fun look that will be great for fun parties at a club. By the way, there is also two cute “patches” that are called “nipple hider” given as an undershirt layer. So if you really feel daring, you can just wear those for maximum effect too! (What maximum effect? giggles)

Aha and skin!! This is one from the new skin line “CANA” that just came out from Lion Skins last night. Each skin tone has 19 makeups as gorgeous and daring as always. The body contour is great too. As a user of fair skin, I’ve been told so many times from skin makers that getting a contour for fair skins is the hardest and achieving it in darker tones is easier. That’s quite understandable as it must be easier to add highlights and shades on darker colours. So with CANA skins, Lion Jonesford had been working hard to come to the rescue and I’m very happy with the results.

Pink For The Sakura Season

The Sakura, or cherry blossom, season is almost over where I live but you can still see cherry trees that have nothing but pale pink delicate flowers that create baby pink trees that simply look devine if you travel north. These flowers are so lovely but short lived and a full pink tree can only be enjoyed for about a week or even shorter if it rains. People in Japan endure the long cold winter awaiting for this god sent sign of spring and try to savour the short period of sakura flowers as much as they can by having parties and picnics under the pink trees while it lasts.

I wanted to wear something pink which is the colour of sakura flowers and found just the right one in one of the gown collections from Sascha’s Designs.

Sascha’s Designs – Marce Pink (cocktail dress)

‘Marce’ in pink was the name of this lovely gown which not only has long ballroom gown skirts, but it also comes with a cocktail skirt, sleek flexi skirt, fluffy flexi skirt and a battleship gown skirt to allow a flexible look depending on where and when you wear the outfit.

Here I matched it with ‘Sakura’ from si*na Jewelry. The creator of this most lovely piece of jewelry, sinamon Loon created, a set of necklace and earrings that are made only with sakura flowers. I had already shown this once in my blog but this was so perfect especially at this time of the year.

I also wore a skin from Lion Skins that had pink makeup to match the whole pink look.

A Cool Gown Released From Sascha’s Designs

Sascha’s Designs is a store that sells mainly formal gowns that have a very feminine taste. Well, at least, that was the image. But Sascha is changing!

She released a gown with a slightly different image recently called Roxanna and now she even released some casual wear! I will show the casual outfit in another blog post and today I have “Roxanna” which is a cool black gown with a thick leather belt around the waist and a sheer scarf that drapes down the back from both shoulders.

The prim skirt also uses a unique texture that looks almost like feathers that fall straight down from the waist.

A simple but cool gown like this is something I find most interesting to style as there is room to play around with accessories. For example, although I wore the gown in the style that it came with, I can replace the scarf with another scarf that I might have to add a point colour, or even replace it with a rather voluminous necklace in which case, I might wear a similar bracelet over the gloves.

But today, I kept the original style and instead, matched it with an interesting hat from Chapeau Tres Mignon that looks like a net ball hat that covers the entire front of the head and face. It looks like I have a net over my face, which is a classic and elegant favorite without making the entire ‘look’ look too classic.

To keep the relatively simple and lean look of the gown, I wore simple pumps but one with a good quality look from Styles of edo.

Gorgeous Gowns by Sascha’s Designs

Sascha’s Designs is one store you don’t want to miss if you are looking for gorgeous gowns. Sascha’s Designs has so many gorgeous gowns, it’s almost hard to make a decision which one you want. But the good news is that the gowns here are very reasonally priced. For the quality of gowns you get, I must say, the prices are very good and fair.

Afterall, in RL, there are rare materials you can use, silk, gems, gold, all the things that can justify expensive prices. But in SL, they are just textures. You can have a diamond texture and say it’s diamond. So what is a high priced gown priced after?

Sascha Frangilli is one designer who is very aware of this and she maintains that her customers must be charged fair prices for outfits. And for this reason, she continues to offer fabulous gowns at fair prices.

There are so many that I want to show but today, I am showing a gown called “Cou Cou Gold” which is a gorgeous gown with a gold glitter and black velvet like material. It comes in a full ballroom gown skirt as well as a knee length cocktail dress and also a mini skirt, allowing you to wear this for any occasion where you need to dress up. You also get two pairs of gloves in this set. One gold and one black. So you will be able to have a lot of fun styling.
