A Napoleon Dress Worth A Buy!

Kuri Style is one of my favorite Japanese stores. It has lots and lots and LOTS of cute, pretty outfits that are lovely in colours and very sweet in designs. I can spend hours (and lots of Lindens) in her store because every time I go there, it becomes a harsh battle within myself not to click on too many vendors.

BUT…..this was certainly a must buy!

The store currently has some items marked down to TWO Lindens. Yes only L$2! You can’t choose the colour, however, since only one of the colours available will be marked down. But what can you complain with this price?

This was one of such marked down mini dresses that I bought. This olive coloured dress (although the creator calls this brown) was one of the three colour variations that also included red and blue. But this one was the best in my personal opinion so I would have bought this colour even if it wasn’t marked down.

The design is rather classic and has rich gold embroidery that decorates a nice tailored design. It also comes with the lace inner shirt and the gray tights with a paisley print that I am wearing here. I loved the texture of this tights and I think this can also be a useful item that can be styled with many other outfits.

I know Clothing Fair has just started and many of you might be spending more than you should. LOL But all the more, a L$2 outfit that looks great will be something that can satisfy your retail craving without hurting your wallet.

Of course, that is, IF you can resist not buying all the other stuff. *grins*

Do You Like Japanese Brands?

Then here is another one. Demise by Nagaru Kawashima. Nagaru used to make a lot of tattoos and when I met him, he had a much smaller store. On February 13, he just opened his new main store which is now much bigger!

Demise – Belial

When you enter his store, you will see vendor posters of male models so you might think it’s a store for men’s fashion. Demise, however, has vendors where you can buy the outfits for men and also for women and most of his designs are unisex. So it’s a great store for women who love to dress up in cool outfits or for couples who want to dress in the same outfits.

Also, like his new release, Belial, Nagaru arranges his vendors so you can buy the jacket alone or in a set where you get EVERYTHING! And I mean EVERYTHING. This Belial set, for example, gives you everything from undershirt layer tattoos to two different shirt colours, jacket, jacket bottom (which makes it look like a long coat which I didn’t wear in the pictures here), a tie (which I am not wearing here either)…..all sorts and you can mix and match them the way you like. Here are some samples of how you can style with this set.

For those that prefer something more simple, you can just buy the jacket and a pair of jeans and a shirt.

The designs from Demise also go very well with jewelry from Rozoregalia which I posted previously. Here, I am using a Vinca necklace from Rozoregalia but an Archelon necklace and earrings go well with this too.

A New Couture Brand Maimai

Miamai is a new couture brand with monica Outlander as the designer. Although monica is still new in the couture scene, she has 3D and texture designing skills from RL which makes her a very eligible new designer in SL.

Miamar already has a vast array of items ranging from skins, formal wear, men’s wear, casual wear and lingerie which was further expanded by a new cyber line that she just introduced a few days ago.

Miamai – Catatonia Blue

Here I am wearing Catatonia Blue. A slightly grundge dress that has an interesting combination of soft flexi skirts but with very high quality leather texture for the bodice. The skirt has a very interesting texture with a large slit on the right. This is a dress that is so flexible in its look depending on how it is styled, allowing the wearer to style it dressy, goth or grunge.

I matched it with black pumps with red soles playing on the small amount of red that is in the dress texture and short slightly shaggy hair. I styled it slightly grunge but only enough to still allow me to wear this to nice smart casual occasions.

For jewelry, I am wearing Noel Red from R. A. Crystal, a Japanese jewelry store that had this choker that is elegantly Gothic with a crystal that has a little bit of red in the gem colour.

Outfit: Miamai, Catatonia Blue
Choker: R. A. Crystal, Noel Red
Earrings: R. A. Crystal, Grace Earrings
Pumps: Digit Darkes, Sleek Heel Black
Hair: Sadistic Hacker, Corvus (black)
