New Releases from Two Sister Treasures, AZUL and Bliss Couture!

Today I am going to introduce a new jewelry set from Two Sister Treasures which is currently sold as part of Edition 12 at the Fan Limited Store for half regular price for a limited number.  Aaaaaand, I also have two fantastic releases from AZUL and Bliss Couture!

The first is a jewelry set called “Mostly Dangerous Necklace Set” which is the set that is now on sale in the Fan Limited Store for a promotional price.  After the limited number is sold out, it will be sold in the main store of Twin Sister Treasures but the price will go up to its regular price.  So if you like it, now is the chance!  Run!  Run!

This is a very unique set of jewelry that was perfect for the newly released gown from Bliss Couture called “Devine Gown” which I wore in black here.  The gold and the green in the jewelry pieces matched the black colour of the gown and I also liked the modern design of the set on a classic lace.

Bliss Couture – Devine Gown in Noir

The next set is a set I found in the main store of Two Sister Treasures called “Butterfly Necklace, Earrings, Bangles and Stone Ring” and I styled this with another amazing gown released by AZUL called “Naomi” which I wore in Onyx colour here.  I loved how the relative slender line of the AZUL gown matched with the relatively detailed design of the jewelry set as well as the bright colours.

An Amazing Circus Collection from Vero Modero!

Vero Modero recently released the “Circus Collection” which is an incredible collection that is not only unique but extremely fashionable.  I was very impressed with how designer Bouquet Babii took the theme of circus and created high fashion designs that can satisfy the taste buds of SL fashionistas.

The collection is quite extensive with many splendid designs but here I am going to show three out of the collection.

The first is a gown called Eda Gown Circus.  It comes with the hat and gloves you see here and I fell in love with this stylish hat and short gloves that really add to this lovely gown.  Circus horses are running in a circle atop this lovely hat!  How cute!  There is also a black version available with the same design.

Vero Modero – Eda Gown Circus

The next is “Vero Modero ‘Circus Collection’ – Alii Full Red Female“. This is probably the most circus-like outfit of all the collection having its inspiration from outfits of clowns.  But Bouquet managed to turn this into a high fashion creation with an amazing sense of style.  This comes in three colour versions, red, red/white and white.  I added a mask and a pair of Harlequin Boots from Illusions.

And the last is “Vero Modero ‘Circus Collection’ – Helter Set Orange“.  This is a more casual mini dress but so fun to wear!  The one I am wearing here is the orange version but there is also a red version to choose from.

You can see a lot more in this amazing collection so if you would like to see more, please visit the store and see for yourself what Bouquet has to offer.

Congratulations Bouquet on an amazing collection!

Tres Beau – Venice

Tres Beau has a new outfit released called “Venice” which I fell in love with at first sight.  I am thinking the name “Venice” came from the Carnival of Venice which had made Venice so famous, where participants wear amazingly artistic masks and costumes.  So as you can imagine, this outfit is such a fun outfit to wear and so different from any other outfit I have seen.

 Tres Beau – Venice

The outfit itself can be worn as a gown and also as a short mini dress.  Here, I wore it as a gown.  It comes with gloves that are decorated with rich red ruffles around the wrist as well as the ankle boots you can see here in the picture.  Along with that, you also get a simple mask, a mask with feather decoration, a top hat with feathers and a top hat with feathers and a face net from which you can choose what to wear with the outfit.

So not only is it a fun and stunning outfit, it allows for a variety of styling.  Here, I wore a mask with feathers but attached a pic of the top hat with feathers and net below.  All I had to add was a choker, earrings, and of course hair.  The rest was given in the set.

I’ve never been to the Carnival of Venice myself but this is one carnival I would love to go to.  I heard that masks were originally worn so that people could enjoy the carnival without worrying about social status or class.  What a wonderful concept!  In 2012, the Carnival of Venice will be held on February 4 and 5.  I bet you it’s too late to book hotels already.  *sigh*  I’m always too late to act.  Maybe 2013?

Dress: Tres Beau, Venice

Siryelle’s Dream Fashion

I came across a really fab store called Siryelle’s Dream which was a store I visited for the first time.  The designer, Siryelle Yalin, impressed me a lot with her very delicate designs and lovely texture.

Two new gowns were just released when I visited and I decided to buy one of the new released dresses but also one more that was not a new release but a gown that caught my eyes.  The two were so different but both very unique and great designs.

The new release, “Lady Dark“, is a boudoir type gown and I absolutely loved this outfit colour.  This gown can be worn as a gown or as a lingerie dress with a garter and stockings.  What’s unusual about this outfit is that it comes with this hair I am wearing here as part of the set.

And the next one, “Orange Delight Gown“, was not a new release but nevertheless a really lovely gown.  It comes with a black top and also a matching orange top so you have an option for the top and it also comes with this lovely hat.  The flowers you see in the picture are attached to the hat and works as a great accent to this rather simple but impactful gown..

Siryelle also has some lovely boots that match her outfits which, of course, can be used with other dresses so check the store out if you haven’t yet!

The necklace and earrings I am wearing here are both from “Fairy Tale” which is a Japanese store that just had a renewal opening of the store.  The creator, xxxriexxx Serevi is one of my models in Dione Fashion Agency, but she had been a jewelry creator before she even started to model.  This jewelry set is her new release which she prepared for the renewal of her store and also has a matching circlet which I am not wearing here.  I loved this very unique design which I thought was perfect for this gown with a modern design.

The Red Look

I found this really gorgeous red gown with a fantastic texture at a baroque fashion house called Ephemera.  Among many lovely baroque gowns, the designer had a few regular gowns which were all very simple compared to her extravagant baroque gowns but all very tastefully made and extremely elegant.

I ended up buying most of the gowns she had and started to style them one by one.

This gown was called “Butter Red” and I am not sure where the name “butter” came from but it was one of the most lovely red gowns I have ever seen.

So I took this skirt and since I wanted a different top, I replaced the top to a corset by KWZ and it turned out to be one of my favorite gown looks.

Getting Ready For Christmas! – Fellini Couture

When I saw the photograph of this new release for Christmas from Fellini Couture on November 24th, I just had to get it! Teddy bears!! So I teleported right away to grab Joy Fellini’s new Christmas gown that was simply called Christmas Gown.

Unfortunately, it’s becoming very difficult for me to style, takes photographs and post a blog all on the same day but I still love to blog whenever I see something I really like. So it’s already 6 days past from the release day but here it is!

Fellini Couture – Christmas Gown

This was the cutest and most glamorous Christmas outfit I had ever seen. It comes with this elaborate head piece with lots of Christmas tree ornaments hanging from it and as you can see in the photographs, it has teddy bears holding presents, more Christmas ornaments and ribbons attached to the skirt part. The teddy bears all wear Christmas caps and they are simply adorable!

Here I wore a different skin than my usual skin from Lionskins. It’s one of the skins from the NOVA skin series and I loved how it gives me a very innocent look without looking too childish.

The hair I am wearing is also a new release from Tukinowaguma called Satomi that has a these sharp cut bangs and side hair giving it a very Japanese look. It comes with flower ornaments in several different colours but here I wore it without the flowers. This hair can be a great hair to wear with relatively casual kimonos too (in other words, kimonos that are not Oiran kimonos or any of those elaborate ones).

Yay! I’m all ready for Christmas! All I need are lots of prezzies coming my way. 😛

Gown: Fellini Couture, Christmas Gown
Jewelry: Alienbear Design, Silvester White Set
Nails: Candy Nail, #P034 Hime White
Hair: Tukinowaguma Hair Style, Satomi without the flower ornament (ebony)
Skin: Lionskins, NOVA Fair 5

A Gown Called "Fierce"

Journey McLaglen, the designer for Prism Haute Couture, has just released a new gown called “Fierce.” Unlike the image you get from this name, the gown is nothing but stunning, amazing, eye-catching AND one of the most elegant gowns I have seen.

Prism Haute Couture – Fierce

Yes it is “fierce” in that the texture pattern is of a zebra and panther, all in black and white. The zebra pattern is used on the left of the entire gown while the panther is used on the right and the two mesh with each other in the center in what is like a zigzag form. Then gown itself has a very simple silhouette with the hem of the skirt being longer on one side.

This is a gown that looks awesome standing still as well as with movement as you see the soft flexi prims of the skirt bounce and twirl as you move. Since I have worn this, I have had two people IM me about the gown in just an hour, which does not happen that often, and also had a photographer comment how gorgeous the gown was.

I can simply say, you get noticed in this gown!

I used this hair from a Japanese hair designer, ADKing Aeon of ‘Glitter’, called Lala. This was one updo that was similarly both fierce as well as elegant that matched the image of this gown so perfectly. I just could not see myself wearing a regular updo as the gown had so much impact that any regular updo will just be too boring.

On the other hand, I didn’t wear much jewelry with this as both the whole texture and the zigzag pattern in the front and back had enough impact that adding anything more to this would be an insult to this great design. So I simply added some drop type pearl earrings and that was enough.

Black and white outfits usually can look quite stunning when a little bit of ‘red’ is added. So here I wore a new Candace Skin with deep red lips from Genesis and also a pair of black high heels from Digit Darkes that has bright red soles. This is quite effective as you can see glimpse of red through the skirt as you walk. A subtle but elegant way of adding red without spoiling the design. Needless to say, nails should be red too.

Outfit: Prism Haute Couture, Fierce
Earrings: PISA Jewelry Shop, Drop Pearl Ruby Diamond Earrings
Nails: Celestial Studio, Lulu Fingernails (Dark Red)
Shoes: Digit Darkes, Sleek Heel (Black)
Hair: Glitter, LALA (Black)
Skin: Genesis, Candace Apple “Redgrave”

A Lovely Purple Gown From My Precious

My Precious, where Agnes Finney is the owner and designer, has always been in my mind as a store that had a lot of pink and red. But the store is apparently changing! She now has her own sim that houses a huge store as well as an event space and a separate area for bridal needs. The moment you step in, you can see so many other colours besides the red and the pinks that she had always been known for.

I found this purple gown there which was one of such gowns.

My Precious – Vera Amethyst

It is an elegant silky gown with lace texture around the hem of a ballroom skirt as well as gloves and comes with a ribbon tied at the back. The top is a halter type top which leaves the back all bare.

Maybe it’s coming from my childhood days when I dreamt of being a princess as I watched videos of Snow White and Cinderella, but a ribbon at the back is something that makes me smile for no particular reason. For me, it was something that ALL princess gowns had to have in my fantasies.

Since the colour of the gown is quite strong, I didn’t want to use gems or colours for jewelry so I matched some pearl jewelry I had from a Japanese store called PISA. It is a jewelry store that specializes in classic Italian jewelry designs and the prim work by its creator, Emi Woller, is absolutely amazing. The jewelry I got here are great to add that bit of classic elegance to any outfit so I thought it would be perfect to use them with this gown. Now I can enjoy the lovely impact this purple has and also add some classic elegance to balance it out.

The hair is one I have used before. “Kay ver2” from R’s Hair Style, which goes really well with big ballroom gowns especially.

Outfit: My Precious, Vera Amethyst
Necklace: Jewelry Shop PISA, Drop Pearl NC 2ren
Earrings: Jewelry Shop PISA, Drop Pearl Earrings
Bracelet: Jewelry Shop PISA, Pearl Diamond Lace Bracelet
Hair: R’s Hair Style, Kay ver2 (black)

A Sweet Flower Dress: New Release From "a la folie"

“A la folie” had always been one of my favorite brands. It’s a store I turn to when ever I want a pretty dress and feel girly. pixivor Allen, designer of “a la folie,” has just released a lovely dress called ‘Rose Tull.’ She has three colour variations in her store nad they all have both prim and printed flowers….and lots of them. The gown itself is a very feminine design too as all of her other outfits. Being a RL artist who loves to paint flowers a lot, pixivor definitely knows how to create great looking prim flowers as well as draw flowers very well.

a la folie – Rose Tull

The tiny sleeves that sit on the upper arms, the bare shoulders, belts and necklaces that are made of flower stems, the soft tulle used for the skirt, the silky top all help to make this gown a very sweet and lovely outfit. ‘Rose Tull’ comes with the necklace, earrings and bracelet as well as the belt you see in the pics. But that’s not all. It also comes with shoes to match the dress which is not purple but pale yellow. In fact, I was a bit surprised as I was expecting to see a similar coloured pair of shoes as the dress but once you wore the yellow shoes, it matched with the overall flowery image of the gown.

I matched it with a hair from Adored Clothing and Hair, which is a store that sells both outfits and hair as the name suggests. This one I am wearing is a very loose up do that has flowers in the back of the up do. You select the colour of the flower you with to wear and then click on the hair to change the hair colour.

As you can see from the pic above, I think pixivor makes one of the best flowers in SL which can only come from her love of flowers in RL.

Nails: Celestial Studio, Lulu Fingernails (pink)
Hair: Adored Clothing and Hair, Cara Color Changing Hair (coal)

Introducing An Incredible New Designer

Kariwanz Felisimo had only had her store opened for 2 weeks when I found her store in an amazing sim created by a Japanese lady, Sweetlemon Jewell, called Omega Point. My jaws had already dropped the moment I arrived to this ‘open sim’. Yes, it was an OPEN sim which means she only had 3750 prims to work with and she had created a world of Final Fantasy!

Then my jaws dropped further when I entered KWZ. A brand new store that had just opened and yet the quality of the vendor posters, the displays and the outfits that were sold were simply…..O….M….G!

KWZ – Anje Cherry in Omega Point

At that time (about 2 months ago), I introduced her to Modavia and the she was immediately sought as a new designer that must be introduced in the Modavia Fashion Directory. After Modavia, she was featured in the last issue of RUNWAY Magazine too (April 09 issue) right before it had its unfortunate closing.

But what more can I say? I have no words that can describe the surprise this new designer gave me with the quality of her design and work.

Anje Cherry is one of her latest releases. The amazingly detailed texture Kariwanz is so good at, is used here also and the colour of the gown which is neither pink nor orange nor brick nor peach….a very sensitive peach-ish colour that also caught my eye.

I cannot even describe this but all I can say is…..you have GOT to come visit Omega Point sim and KWZ even just to see what amazing work these two Japanese ladies have done with an open sim and dress creations.

Here, I used the Noir line of Lion Skins, which is actually SU based but made to look a little goth like. I like using this skin when I want a bit of mysterious feel in the look but not completely goth. I would even call this ‘fashion goth’ separating it from the goth skins that are in the market.

Outfit: KWZ, Anje Cherry
Earrings: +plus*, Black Pearl Earrings (dark gold)
Hair: Curious Kitties, Loehinyd Queen Hair (blackish)
