New Releases from VoguE

VoguE has been a brand that is energetically coming up with some fantastic new releases and a brand that I am keeping an eye on.  VoguE designer, Zalyn Bailey has also launched her lingerie line as well as some great makeup tattoos this year and is definitely in a big development phase.

So I am going to be introducing 2 of her newest releases today.

One is an absolutely stunning cocktail dress called Alix dress.  It’s a very elegant dress with a tight fit using lace for the entire outfit.  The big ruffled sleeves add glamour and movement to the outfit.  The back view is very elegant and yet sexy too with a slit up the center of the skirt.

And the next one is a nice winter jacket called Tabitha Fur Jacket.  Here I am wearing the silver colour version.

It has that class look and this will be a nice jacket to wear over pants or skirt.  As it’s sold as a separate, it will be a nice item to have to mix with other outfits.  Here I wore it with a cool leather pants from Dela.

The bag I am holding here is not a new release but one I absolutely love and use very often.  It comes with a hand-held version shown here as well as a shoulder hung version and I think it’s just simply adorable.

Lovely Dresses From A New Japanese Designer

A relatively new Japanese designer, Sayuri Cremorne, comes up with lovely and sweet dresses for almost any avatar to enjoy. Her outfits are usually very feminine and has a twist one way or another and should be attractive to many who enjoy SL fashion. And needless to say, as with many Japanese designers, her creations are very reasonable to buy.

Today I have two of her outfits to show.

The first one is called “Gold Fish Dress” which is a name so befitting with the bright hue of orange looking exactly like a gold fish tail. Gold fish has been an important part of Japanese culture just like koi fish which I see so often even in SL. It brings a feeling of peace, nostalgia, home, and most Japanese will have many sweet memories attached to kingyo, or gold fish.

So here is the “Gold Fish Dress” which is so unique that I just love it so much. The colours and patterns used on the top has a faint Japanese look while the bright orange (or maybe I should call this the kingyo orange) give it a stunning impact that makes almost anybody stop.

The necklace I used here is the same Grape Necklace from PISA that I showed in my previous post, but in a different colour that oddly matched the kingyo orange. It added fun to the look. And here again, I am using flat shoes to complete the look.

The second one is HASU which means “lotus flower” in Japanese. It is a silky mini dress that comes in white and pale pink with the entire dress looking like petals of a lotus flower. I wore this with flat shoes and with this necklace and earring set that is one of my favorites. It is a set made with pale pink sakura (cherry blossom flowers) made by sinamon Loon of si*na museum which I have worn before in my blog. But since I have never seen anything like this I think I will continue to wear and show this here. 🙂

A Sweet Coat From Bliss Couture

Bliss Couture is a store that many people know as a gown store. That was my image too. But the other day, I found this sweet short coat that had a nostalgic feel to it. It looked like a couture coat of the past and I liked it very much!

So I tried to imitate a look with a retro feel and decided to add pink as the second colour. Unless you are going for that crazy and fun psychedelic look that is a burst of colours, it is usually good if you decide on the primary colour and secondary colour. Here it’s green and pink.

So I wore this hair style that had a colour changing hair band from Adored Clothing & Hair and matched it with pink boots from Gbberish. These leggings came with the coat in the same set, but you can also wear jeans or other leggings. Another look I would like to try with this coat would be to wear red leggings and make a green & red look. Maybe I’ll try that next time.

I changed the skin too to one that gives me that pink lip. Not the nude pink that current makeups have but one with that mat pink colour in older fashion shots.

Cute Japanese Fashion

Outfits made by Japanese designers tend to be very cute and sweet. This is one of those sweet dresses I found in “anuenue (pronounced anu-eh-nu-eh).” This dress from “anuenue” has sweet fluffy sleeves and the skirt is also a bit fluffy with gives it the sweet look it has. I was wondering if I should get the pink one or the green one but after I thought I can make a pink and green look with this, I decided to go with the green and add pink as my second colour using other items.

So instead of styling it up with green, I decided to add pink as the second colour and used a lovely hat from “A La Folie” with pink roses, a necklace with pink flowers from “Twinkleberry”, also a Japanese store, pink tights from “Gbberish” which have designs printed on it and a flat pink shoes also from “Gbberish.”

The tights came in a set of three different coloured tights all with this flower pattern and I was so excited when I found this as there are many lace stockings in SL, tights with a pattern are hard to find. It was the same with shoes. You can find a lot of high heeled shoes but very few flat ones especially if you want something that has a nice shape.

A Sweet Casual Style With A Retro Look

I was walking around the Kensington sim in London, England and came across this really nice store called “Gbberish.” It had casual outfits that had a nostalgic look and had retro-looking furniture displayed as well. It even had footwear! The whole atmosphere of the store was so befitting to the British scenery, looking like a store I might find in Nottingham.

This Kensington sim, by the way, is also a sim you must visit if you hadn’t yet. You will find the Knights Bridge Metro station and buildings so well made with art deco bars and beautiful gardens atop buildings. So it’s worth strolling around and looking around. You will sure have a great experience.

Anyway…..so here are the two outfits I got at “Gbberish.” The first one, “Audrey’s Attic Puff Dress in Vintage Roses” is a short dress with a lovely texture of roses with that antique feel to it which comes with short gloves as well as long ones. But I liked the sweet short gloves to go with this one. I matched it with a similarly retro looking hair style from “Magika.” It’s a cute two-bun look and came with a black hair band with a ribbon on the side. So I edited the hair and changed the colour of the hair band to match the dress.

I also chose a cute looking pair of shoes from “Shiny Things.” I liked the retro look of this pair that fit the outfit perfectly. But for jewelries, I decided to go with the red/brownish colour in the dress instead of making everything green.

Gbberish – Audrey’s Attic Puff Dress (Vintage Roses)

Outfit: Gbberish, Audrey’s Attic Puff Dress (Vintage Roses)
Shoes: Shiny Things, Mary Geos (spring green)
Necklace & Earrings: Lucas Lameth Fashion Jewel, Han Hana Necklace & Earrings Set (violet/red silver)
Hair: Magika, Betty (black & maroon)
Skin: Minnu, MMS-LondonFair, makeup 8b

The second outfit is a bit more casual but nonetheless sweet with a retro feel like the first one. It comes with this aqua coloured socks and also a bordeau coloured pair but I chose to wear the aqua one with this ankle boots which I also found in the same store.

The boots came in six colours and had really nice “different” colours such as “Bubble gum.” I just loved the whole taste that gave me a somewhat nostalgic memory of my childhood, not that I was actually wearing something like this.

With all outfits from “Gbberish”, I think you can really have fun matching them up with various accessories with various colours. I’m already trying out different looks myself!

Skin: same as above

Usually I never post pics of the stores but this time, the atmosphere of the store was so nice that I decided to take a snapshot and post it here.
