An Exciting New Release From Chambre de Chocolat

I had been waiting for this moment! Eshi Otawara of Chambre de Chocolat, who has been releasing the most creative outfits such as the “Fishhook Dress”, “Three Woodpecker Dress”, “Julliet Gown” and “Black Phoenix” had come up with another exciting release! “Hibiscus Dream”, released today, is a most lovely and dreamy outfit that takes its form from a hibiscus flower, a flower with extravagant petals and an almost divine beauty.

The outfit comes with three types of clothing layers that is adorned with the petal prims that attach to both legs. The one I am wearing here in called “painted” but there is also a “petal” which is all red and “leaf” which is green. So you choose which one you want to wear and attach the two prim parts that form the gorgeous petal parts.

What looks like particles here are in fact, graphics on a transparent texture that almost looks as if you are emitting particles. In fact, I wore this to a dance hall and was immediately approached by a hostess who thought I was emitting particles. I have to admit, initially, I thought they were particles too!!

This was a love at first sight for me and I am still excited over this great outfit!!

Today, I matched it with jewelries from “the Golden Flower” which will are released very soon. It’s a most charming set that contains a necklace, bracelet and earrings, all colour change so you can change the colours of both the pearl as well as the metal parts to match whatever outfit you want to wear them with.

Outfit: Chambre de Chocolat, Hibiscus Dream by Eshi Otawara
Necklace, bracelet and earrings: The Golden Flower, Girly Ariadne Luxurious
Hair: Exxess Designs, Doggy (black)

It’s Getting Cooler And I Got A New Coat

OK, I know it’s still hot in many parts of the world, and even it places where they have winter, it’s not THAT cold yet. But my mind is starting to think jackets, coats, boots….all the fun fashion items that are good for winter (yes, yes, I know we don’t really feel any chill or heat for that matter…). That was my mind set when I spotted this new short coat from Baiastice. It wasn’t a new release, but being a serious shopaholic, any new item in my inventory is an excitement for me.

It’s particularly exciting when the item looks interesting… interest, I mean unusual shape, unusual colour, anything that has a unique feature to it.

This short coat from Baiastice was exactly that. Interesting shape, interesting texture, my fav colours. So how could I resist? Here I pictured myself going to a nice party on a chilly day. Not VERY cold, but cold enough to wear something as a coat but still look stylish even when I was wearing my coat.

Short coat: Baiastice, Seagull
Leggings: Mimikri, Roma Leggins (black)
Tank top: plus, Snake Top in Black (I know you can’t see it, but it’s there!)
Hat: Chapeau Tres Mignon, Golightly Hat White
Boots: Bax Coen Designs, Snakeskin boots
Nails: bijou, Nail Deep Dream (night)

A Cool Racing Jacket

A really cool racing jacket was released by Drawmachine!! I just had to get this being a great race fan for both car and bike races myself! This was a new store for me and the moment I stepped inside, I was soooooo excited to see the items it had. There were also some sexy outfits that based its designs on racing but I wanted something more real….something I could wear if I were to race in SL. The jacket came in 5 colours; red, blue, green (more like Kawasaki lime green), yellow and sand. After taking ages to make up my mind between yellow and lime green, I decided to go with yellow. One regret is that the jacket only comes with the zip opened. So no closed zip version. But that’s ok. It’s not like I need all that protection in SL.

I found a cool pair of biker boots too which was available for both male and female avatars. I loved the texture used for both the boots and jacket. It just looked so real!

So here, I wore the jacket more like a fashion item matching it up with a sweet jeans mini skirt which can also be worn as a pair of short pants. I also wore the latest released pair of sunglasses from my fav sunglass store, ottico. This is colour change too! So I can change the colour of the flame as well as the lens. I am showing it in black and yellow frames in the pics below just so that you can see how the colour can be changed. By the way, to change the colour, all you have to do is click on the sunglass and you will get a drop down menu where you can choose whether you want to change the flame or the lens colour, and then choose a colour from the next drop down menu.

Oh I am just so happy and excited that I found this! I can’t get enough of this racing jacket!

Cool Tank Tops From Symptom

One day I came across this store called Symptom. On my first visit, I landed on a point where I saw no stores around. I first thought it hadn’t rezzed yet so I waited there….and waited…and waited and there was still no store! But then I noticed a big hole with a sign board aboe it that said “SYMPTOM” so I decided to fall into it. There it was, a store that looked more like an obscure underground base.

Intrigued by this unique store design, I walked around inside the store and found lots of really cool tank tops, T-shirts and various other items that designer Xan Pixel created for his store.

Rock City is a brand new tank top that he just launched with a very interesting texture. Red is the only colour variation sold but that’s because you can edit and change the colour to whatever colour you want. I matched it up with a pair of torn jeans and also an interesting belt I found in Izumiya, a Japanese store where most of the items are either free or super cheap like L$5.

As for the store itself, I liked the store design so much that I decided to do a photo shoot inside his store too.

Bracelet: Swallowtail, Volume Bracelet (green)

I also wanted to show “Torn”, another tank top but as the name suggests, this one is torn to reveal quite a lot. I loved this tank top however, as you can wear different colours undershirts to create different images and the undershirt will show through “Torn” which is worn as a shirt laayer.
This time, I wore a black tank top from “plus”, which is one of my fav stores so that will will look black and white. Again the tank top is tintable so I can change the colour to whatever colour that I like.

M * A * ii * K * I Striped Strapless Black & Gold Set

It’s funny but even in SL, there are days when I feel like I want to just dress casual or on other days, I want to dress up. Now that doesn’t necessarily mean wearing ballroom gowns and today was such a day. I wanted to dress up!

So dress up I did.

When I want to dress up, I tend to choose very simple outfits because you can add more to it. On the other hand, on days I am feeling lazy, I wear outfits that almost complete the whole look so I don’t have to think about adding anything.

Today, I was feeling a little energetic so I chose Maiiki’s Striped Strapless outfit, which could be worn as shorts or as a tight mini dress both with leggings. This comes with various coloured leggings but mine had gold leggings. So with this, the theme colour became black and gold. Then I added a touch of purple and pink with my makeup and also added jewelry that could add some impact and also added an interesting hat. This hat is called the “Bird Nest Hat” from Chapeau Tres Mignon. As you can see, well………….it’s a bird’s nest all complete with eggs and a birds! This added an interesting touch to an otherwise very simple outfit.

OK, so now I am all dressed up. But…………..where should I go?

Outfit: M*A*ii*K*I, Striped Strapless Black/Gold
Hat: Chapeau Tres Mignon, Bird Nest Hat
Necklace: LeeZu Baxter Designs, La Perla black (free gift)
Bracelet: RYCA, Texture Change Bangle (Gold)
Shoes: Stiletto Moody, Pinup (patent black)

Kouse’s Sanctum New Release: Sandrah

I have ALL the colours of Kouse’s Sanctum to show you again. I just love the feminine touch of Kouse’s gowns! With “Sandrah”, designer and creator, Kouse Singh has both solid colours and also white based gowns with a touch of different colours used which makes the gowns look very delicate and dainty.

For the top, you get a choice of long sleeves and short sleeves and after wearing all the colours, I realized that the solid colours tend to look better with long sleeves as those are more elegant, whereas the white based gowns looks sweeter with short sleeves. But that’s all an individual’s choice. You get both sleeves so try them out yourself!

So here are all the colours. Enjoy!!

Sandrah – Blood

Sandrah – Blue

Sandrah – Forest

Giusia Creations: Sammy in Black

Today’s outfit is Sammy in black by Giusia Creations. I love the outfits of this store as they are simple and can be worn casual as well as dressed up as I did here. Yesterday, I received a review pack from the House of Heart and I found several hair that I liked. This one, Wild Isabella, was one of them so I went to get some colours that I liked it in. The feathers on this hair is colour changeable so this will be a fun hair to match to various outfits.

The skin is a couture skin from Nomine called “couture cat eye”. It’s a beautiful skin I fell in love with the moment I wore the demo skin.

So this will be a fun party look without getting over dressed.

Giusia Creations: Lili in Black

As anybody has noticed, there are many outfits that have short prim mini skirts. I tend to avoid these designs as, in general, they all look too similar. But this Lili outfit by Giusia Creations had a different overall image in spite of having a short prim skirt. It must be the tweek in design around the neck area and also the texture/design of the prim skirt, but whole outfit looks a lot more stylish.

But even so, I thought wearing it with no stockings or with boots will make it look too boring, so I matched it up with a pair of above knee socks from Shop Seu, as well as a big shoulder bag that came in Baiastice’s “Maimi” swimming suit set and centered it around a black & white colour theme.

And this is what I got.

Outfit: Giusia Creations, Lili (Black)
Socks: Shop Seu, Kushukushu Kutsushita
Bag: Baiastice, Miami (used bag only from a swimming suit, bag & hat set)
Sunglass: ottico, numero59 bianco

Milonga, A Sexy Dress To Dance a Tango

Mami Jewell, designer for “Styles of edo” who creates all female outfits have introduced a very sexy dress called Milonga.

The dress reveals the left let all the way from the top! This would be a dress which will require quite a bit of courage to wear in RL but hey, why not in SL? I haven’t been able to yet, but I would love to go dancing in this. When I looked up the meaning of Milonga (hmmm I have to admit, I didn’t know this word), it said an Argentine Tango. No wonder!

And as all of Mami’s outfits, the dress has a great texture which I had to show in the last pic attached.

Outfit: Styles of edo, Milonga, Tanzanite
Shoes: Stiletto Moody, Pinup (Midnight)
Hair: Cake, Faith (black)
Skin: Redgrave, Scarlett Pale Skin、smoky 4
Nail: bijou, Deep Dream Collection (Rouge)

New Releases From Kouse’s Sanctrum

Aside from modeling and blogging, another aspect of Second Life that I enjoy immensely is the free time I spend in a medieval fantasy RP sims of Avilion. So naturally I need gowns that I can wear here but they need to be gowns that are not so modern looking. Kouse’s Sanctum is a store that specializes in gowns that can be worn in Avilion, but that means that they are also gorgeous gowns you can wear anywhere as a formal outfit. If you visit her store, I am sure anybody will be overwelmed by the variety of gowns and colour variations that are available!!

For this new release, Kouse has come up with 10 stunning colours in a gown called Briar Rose. Each of the gowns have a solid coloured underskirt overlaid with a sheer textured skirt in the same colour, giving the gown a romantic image which, together with the ruffle on the sleeves, gives the gowns a very charming and sweet look. The prim skirt attaches slightly low on the waist, showing the feminine curves which was a design feature that I loved so much about this dress.

I must add that each gown has a circlet included in the set as shown in the picture below. This circlet is colour changing by clicking on the circlet which allows you to match the jewelry with your choice of gown colour or even wear it with any other outfit you like!

Just look at the array of colours available. It will be very hard to decide on just one colour but with all the 10 that are available, I am sure almost anybody will be able to find one that will fit her taste.

Briar Rose – Azure

Briar Rose – Blood

Briar Rose – Cotton Candy

Briar Rose – Emerald

Briar Rose – Grape

Briar Rose – Lavender

Briar Rose – Midnight

Briar Rose – Moonbeam
