Here I have the two most recent releases from Gizza. The first one is called “Wild Attack“. This is complete outfit set that includes everything from outfits, scarf, shoes, jewelry and even a turban that will replace hair. Of course, you can use your own items instead of the items in this set to style this but this is a great set when you are feeling lazy or when you don’t have much time looking for items.

Casual Summer Look
I got this new hair from 69 Hair called Bell 01 that looks really natural and it inspired me to style a nice casual look for the summer season.
I loved this skirt I found in SHINE that was available in some solid colours as well as some patterned textures out of which I chose the Floral 01 style. This soft flared design is something I would love to wear in real life. I matched it with a pair of cute red flats with ankle straps and a straw woven tote bag from glow studio.
Tank Top: Emery, Tank Pure
Skirt: SHINE, Sofie Skirt, Floral 01
Shoes: Ingenue, Martha (ruby)
Necklace & bracelet*: Samsara, Aubade Crimson
Bag: glow studio, Seasons Bag Autumn
Hair: 69 Hair, Bell 01 (light noir)
Prim nails: ByKay, Manicure & Pedicure “Orange & Yellow”
*These items had been sent to me by the creator and the folder did not have a LM and I haven’t been able to find the store. If anybody knew where the store is, I’d be really happy if you can let me know.

A Mix n Match Casual Style
There was a casting audition recently in one of the agencies that I am with and I started thinking about styling for it. However, unfortunately, my schedule did not allow me to go at the designated time but I decided to style it anyway as it sounded like a really fun styling requirement. And now that I am finished, I’m loving this look so I decided to blog about it and also wear it for my casual looks.

It is basically a mix n match with several brands and my target was to achieve a casual look but with style and and something that actually looked better than a casual look that I might wear at home. So I decided to use my favorite colour mix. Black, white and red.

I think the hat and the patterned tights I wore makes this entire look really cute.
T-shirt: Fab Pony, I Love Me Tee (Black)
Jeans Mini Skirt: Myth, Mini Skirts Doodle Light
Tights: Fab Pony, Chevron Hose (B&W)
Belt: Myth, Croc Belt – Red
Bangles: Irelyn**, Red Bangles**
Hat: Couture Chapeau, La Loren Napoli Chapeau – Red Straw
Shoes: Stiletto Moody, Pinup Spike (Red Tartan – Black)
**This store was no longer there at the landmark I had and I just could not search it. I tracked the creator and sent a notecard asking her where the store had gone but I have not heard back since. If any of you reading this, know the where abouts of this store now, I would be very grateful if you can let me know. Thank you!

So today, I am introducing some lovely new releases that are not only reasonably priced but also great adds to anybody’s spring wardrobe.

The first one is a tight mini dress from Prism Haute Couture Clothing called “Musique Bandage Dress by Journey.” Journey McLaglen, the designer for this brand did such a wonderful job with the colour selection of this mini dress. The form itself is very simple, which allows the lovely colours used to be emphasized and I seriously have no words to praise her for her taste in colours. In spite of the numbers of colours she has used, no one colour stands out and they all blend beautifully into this spring creation. Kudos to the designer also for the great work she has done to match the seams and prim parts. Again, inspite of using so many colours and in horizontal lines, the sides and the lines in the prim part match beautifully and I admire the patience she had to get this right to this high quality level.

The next new release is a preview of the “Glam Tote Bag” from +plus*. Helena Compton had always been one of my favorite designers of accessories ever since I started blogging and she will be coming up with a miriad of colours with a new bag for those people who want that ‘spice’ added to their fashion to make a difference.
Here, I am holding the olive coloured bag but as always, the quality of her bags and accessories are worth checking out if you haven’t yet. Being a graphic designer in RL, Helena’s creations are always a great addition that I rely heavily on for my own styling needs and I am happy to introduce this new tote bag she will be releasing very soon.

And last but not least, another of my all time favorites in brands, Petal Meg. The colours in Fuscia Jewell’s new release “Hydrangea Tied Lariat” was perfect to add as a piece of jewelry to this spring look. I love to use her flower petal jewelry when I want some colours and also when I don’t want to use ‘heavy’ items such as gems or metal pieces and today’s fashion was exactly that.
Fuscia actually uses flower petals covered in resin to create these lovely and sweet creations in real life and she sells the same jewelry in SL as well as RL. I also have some of her real creations in RL and it is not just such a lovely jewelry to own, it is such joy to think that I own the same items as my avatar in SL!! If you are interested, you can buy her RL items in her Petal Meg Website which is where I got mine too. She will ship them to all areas of the globe so this is another thing worth checking out for your RL spring wardrobe as well.

A Brand New Designer On The Grid
“Fashion Nomad” is a new brand by a new designer Aleida Rhode. She opened her store only about three weeks ago and is already churning out new releases very energetically. Aleida had been one of the top models in SL and I had known her through modeling jobs as well as runway projects at Ewing Fashion Agency where we both work as a staff member and model. Through her modeling career, Aleida has seen many fashion brands as well as outfits and I am looking forward to see what she will add to the SL world of fashion.
Here is one of her new releases, Balinya Dress in rose dust. A very subdued soft pink dress that is very elegant and good for any semi-formal party. I matched it with a burgundy coloured pair of shoes and a matching rose hair accessory. I also tried white shoes, as well as similar coloured shoes but the entire image looked “sleepy” when I used soft colours only and it seemed to work best when I added stronger colours at my feel level and at the top as a hair ornament to sharpen up the entire look. I must say, however, pure white also worked too but it was a bit too predictable so I decided to show the stronger coloured match in my pics.
Outfit: Fashion Nomad, Balinya Dress (rose dust)
Necklace & earing set: Twinkleberry, Delicato (rosa)
Rose hair ornament: Illusions, Hair Rose (pink)
Shoes: enkythings, Ekota-X (burgundy)
Hair: Amrita, Prim hair、Rea
Skin: MMS Light – Flower (this skin is no longer on sale and Minnu now has a new store under the name of LeLutka)
Although this particular dress I have shown is soft coloured, Aleida also has lots of bright coloured shirts, tank top as well as jackets. Even dresses too. To show one of such examples, I picked this shirt top which is a pretty fuscia coloured top with a see-through lower part of the bodice and puff sleeves.
Here I made a fun spring look using various accessory items. I could have made a sweet look with a pink shirt that has puff sleeves but I tend to like going against the expected so it was more like an experiment which was also a lot of fun.

Top: Fashion Nomad, Soroti Spring Shirt (fuchsia red)
Pants: Devilish Cupcake, Gidget Pedal Pushers Glitch Pants (houndstooth)
Belt: Sole Accessory, Sole Bend Poach Belt with Chain (gray)
Bangle: Sole Accessory, Sole Dot Bangle (pink)
Necklace: Sole Accessory, Sole Dog Tag
Sandals: Courtinsane, Marquise Sandals (pink)
Nails: Persona, Polished Nails (pink)
Hair: 69, Envy Me (charcoal)
Skin: MMS Fair – cold (this skin is no longer on sale and Minnu now has a new store under the name of LeLutka)

A Cool Rider’s Jacket For Ladies
My regular readers will know by now that I LOVE rider’s jackets in RL and in SL. These are one item I cannot go without buying if I see a cool one on the market. So….here I go again!
I found a cool rider’s jacket designed for ladies from a store called “B11” in Japan. It seems Japanese stores tend to have lots of nice rider’s jackets which is quite understandable with all the motorcycles in Japan. Most of the popular motorcycles companies such as Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki are all Japanese companies. So go figure.
There were several colour variations including the usual black and also one in a leopard pattern which did, I must say, intrigued me as it was different. But I still wanted it to look like a rider’s jacket and a leopard skin pattern was just a bit too “girly” for my ideal of what rider’s jackets should look like so I settled for a red one, which, surprisingly was my very first red! It was still different from the ones I have as most of them were black.
This jacket is a very slender jacket that could be worn easily even with skirts. In fact, I like wearing these leather jackets with skirts…which reminds me, I must try that styling here sometime. But for today, I went in a very “conservative” direction wearing the jacket with a pair of leather pants from DeLa.
If you are looking for cool leather pants, DeLa is a good place to start as these pants come in eight colour variations which is quite unusual for leather pants. These eight are also divided up into four each to form two sets of fat packs for those who embrace a great love for leathers. This one I wore is “silver” although it does look black. The one labelled “black” has a much darker black colour. I could have gone with that one too but I thought this silver one will give me a slightly softer look compared to a bold red + black.
This time, I wanted to wear the jacket more as a fashion item rather than for a look that was more appropriate for practical riding so I matched it with black boots from Shiny Things that has some heels but without wearing the calf prims. This way, I won’t have to worry about my boot prims coming out of my pants while it still looks like I am wearing boots.
I received some nice compliments in this look……..so I guess I will just keep on increasing my rider’s jacket collection. *sighs*
Rider’s jacket: B11, Riders Red/Ladies
Leather pants: DeLa, Leather Pants “Linda” (Silver)
Boots: Shiny Things, Wrapped Stiletto Boots (black)

Japan, Japan, Japan..A Sweet Casual Look
“MeteoRain” is a Japanese brand with two small stores. Designer, songe Lunasea, is currently planning to open a main store this month in March and at the same time launch new products but until then, her stores remain these two that cannot be directly reached by landmarks which makes it a little difficult to access. She still only has a few items but what she has is very good quality and I am looking forward to seeing her new designs and new main store.
One of her creations is this hoodie that comes in 5 colour variations and it can be worn by both male and female avatars. I have matched it with a sweet short denim pants and fun socks from sey and a white pair of moccasin boots from 69. The cap is also from Japan. “Argrace” is an already fairly well-known store among the non-Japanese SL residents as one that has quality items in not only clothing but hair and even furniture. The cap comes with the hair and Argrace has different hair as well as cap designs, again for both male and female avatars.
So today, I am wearing Japanese designer creations literally from head to toe. I must admit that there are very few good gown designers in Japan, but when it comes to casual outfits, they are so good with texture as well as detail. They also have some very fun items for mixing and matching too.
And this it today’s casual look all from Japan.
Hoodie: MeteoRain, Parka (dark gray & pink)
Shorts: :sey, Patch Denim (black)
Socks: :sey, Border Skull star-ling (green)
Boots: ::69::, FRINGE Boots (camel)
Hair: Argrace, Beanie – Long Layered Wavy (black)
