I Feel Like A Faerie: LBD New Gown

A lovely gown had been released by LeeZu Baxter Designs. Ginko Flexi Dress – Lilie. It is such a grand gown and yet the dainty image it has is quite amazing. The top is almost bare on the left side and not only is it sweet but also very sexy.

The very delicate colours, which can only be described at pink and green, but no way would those two colour names do justice to this very delicate and sweet colours, is used with amazing texture. It comes with a large hair ornament that looks like three flowers and also three skirt parts. One of them is the one closest to a normal gown but LeeZu made this skirt with an amazing 136 prims which shows the detail and the amount of work that had gone into it. It is slightly longer at the back and because of this length, the green part at the bottom of the skirts shows more at the back, making it a charming part of the design.

Then there is a more sheer looking sculpture primed skirt that is more full and not flexi. This part can be attached together with the flexi skirt, which I did in the pics. There is also a short mini skirt, which is a whopping 192 prims! With the mini skirt, the outfit looks almost like a faerie outfit. I know there will be personal tastes but I like the long grand ballroom skirt the most because I think it makes the most out of the dainty colours and delicate design of the top part.

The solf colours of this gown matched the Classic Akoya Pearl jewelry that was launched from Styles of edo because the pearls in these pieces are cream pink coloured rather than white due to aging. I wrote about these pearls in my previous post so please refer to this write up if you are interested. It’s no ordinary pearls so I thought the value and quality of these pearls matched this gorgeous gown aside from the colour.

Swanilda; A New Gown From Styles of edo

So this is my second post for today as I wanted to keep posts from jewelry separate from outfits (see the post below for a new Classic Akoya Pearl jewelry release from Styles of edo).

Together with a launch of antique Akoya Pearl jewelries, Styles of edo just released a gown called Swanilda which is a long gown version of Coppelia. The elegant gown now has a shoulder stall in addition to the long skirt and comes in seven beautiful colours; black, blue, brown, olive, pink, red and turquoise.

The impression of this new gown is that it’s just simply elegant! Not too much and not overly decorative which accentuates the quality of the satin texture used which designer and creator, Mami Jewell is so good at. This will be a perfect gown for ladies who are looking for elegant gowns for high class social events that require style, elegance but more importantly good taste in fashion.

Big New Releases at Styles of edo! Pearls and Gowns

This weekend, Styles of edo has decided to release a new gown called Swanilda, which is a long gown version of Coppelia and also their very first pearl jewelry, the Akoya Pearl Series. I will post about the Swanilda release in a separate post.

If you know anything about pearls, you should be excited! The Akoya Pearls were natural pearls (non-cultured) that existed in the early 1900’s that are no longer produced or available except as antique pearl jewelry. A real Akoya Pearl triple strand can cost something like US$50,000 or more and are true luxuries which you will be lucky enough if you found a good one on sale. Well, this is Second Life! Make your jewelry dream come true!

edo has launched 4 necklace types, single strand, long single strand, double strand and triple strand together with 2 types of earrings, studded pearl earrings and drop type earrings. Note the creamy pinkish colour of the pearls. Pink pearls are the most expensive pearls you can get as it is not easy to match up the colours of pearls to make a whole necklace or any piece of jewelry with pink coloured pearls. The pearl jewelry that just came out from Styles of edo are all pinkish and creamy that comes from aging.

The backside of the necklaces are also made to first class quality with a detailed necklace buckle as you can see from a picture I have taken below.

You might be wondering if edo Tone is now making jewelry. Well, not really. The idea and concept of these pearl jewelry came from edo Tone while the actual creation was done by the Chrissy Ambrose, designer and creator of jewelry who owns Virtual Impressions. This explains the quality of the pieces. So let me show you what these two have come up with as a collaborative work.

Nicole, A New Release From Styles of edo

Styles of edo, released a new gown called Nicole yesterday. It is a very sexy satin gown with fur, so timely as we slowly approach the cold winter days that await us.

The gown comes in 8 colours. This time, in addition to the regular colours such as black and red, Mami Jewell, designer of female outfits at Styles of edo, came up with very subtle colours such as lavendar, light blue and even gold for those who like to make bold statements. This is the first gown that Mami releases with fur but her very sexy style remains without change. Just look how low the back of the gown cuts down to. In RL, I would be so self conscious to wear something so low. But this is SL and I might as well enjoy it as much as I can.

I was thinking where would I want to wear this? And what more would be fit than a gorgeous high class cruiser trip with parties every night. So dreaming of such a lovely cruiser trip, I came to the Titanic sim for a photoshoot on the SL Titanic.

Elegant "Josephine" From Styles of edo

Mami Jewell has released another elegant gown today called “Josephine.” It looks like a gown that Juliet would wear in Romeo & Juliet. Sweet and classic, with delicate lace used on the rims of the skirt. The gown comes in 5 colours. Black, red, blue, olive and purple.

I matched it with a pearl necklace that has a very classic design from PISA. It has ruby ornaments in an otherwise simple pearl necklace, that gives this rich, classic look to it. I also wore matching earrings.

New Release From Styles of edo

Mami Jewell, designer of female outfits for Styles of edo, has been releasing a lot of sexy and well made dresses. For this release, she made a series of a cocktail length dress called “Coppelia.” She had always been known for the quality of the textures that she uses and she’s done it again! This time, the dress itself is one the most simplest of forms as you can see in the pictures below. But it was this simple form was so effective to have eyes focus on the smooth and silky texture.

“Coppelia” is a title of a sentimental comic ballet performance with original choreography by the famous Arther Saint-Leon and initially performed in 1870. This name well fits the cute and coquettish look of this sweet dress that Mami made.

The skirt part is rich and flows out naturally from the waist with a slight puffiness and adorned with lovely lace at the bottom. But again, what is note worthy is the texture. I have really never seen better silky texture than what Mami makes.

See is believing. So here are the pics and please take note of the silkiness and the beauty of simplicity.

Sexy New Launch From Styles of edo

Mami Jewell, designer for all female outfits at Styles of edo has just launched yet another very sexy gown, “Mojito Royal (pronounced mohito).” It’s practically all glitter!!

The reason why it’s call Mojito Royal is because she has also launched “Mojito,” a shorter, knee length version of this gown. The basic form of the gown is kept very simple, which is probably the reason why this gown does not look “over done” even with all the glitter. The gown comes in seven colours; black, red, blue, green, orange, pink and silver. This is going to be a tough decision to make which one to get!!

The gowns that Mami has been introducing had all been extremely well made and sexy. “Mojito Royal” is certainly another addition to her line of sexy outfits that can be worn to any party or a romantic dance in a ballroom.

Here I matched a classic pearl necklace with ruby ornaments as any gem based jewelry will be a bit too much glitter.

"Farfalla" from Styles of edo

One of the latest releases from “Styles of edo” is “Farfalla.” Mami Jewell is the designer and creator of all female outfits at “Styles of edo” and she has come up with yet another outfit that makes us feel sexy and in style.

Farfalla, which means butterfly, is probably one of Mami’s most gorgeous outfits. It has a top that is adorned by detailed embroidery which she had always been very good at. An extensive embroidery is added to the hem area of the skirt as well. The most astounding thing about this outfit, however, is the attension Mami gives to details. Just as an example, take a look at the see through part of the bodice. You can see how the crease made on this texture looks so real and also how the front and back textures match up in terms of position of the creases. These are tiny details for sure. But it is because of such detailed attention and care that Mami gives to her creations that her outfits have such a quality look overall.

The colours are lovely too. It comes in black and red of course as these are the most popular colours but the other colours are all lovely subtle shades that add so much to the delicacy of the outfit. The colour variations are aquamarine (blue), garnet (red), onyx (black), emerald (green), amethyst (purple) and topaz (light brown).

And here are all the colours.

Milonga, A Sexy Dress To Dance a Tango

Mami Jewell, designer for “Styles of edo” who creates all female outfits have introduced a very sexy dress called Milonga.

The dress reveals the left let all the way from the top! This would be a dress which will require quite a bit of courage to wear in RL but hey, why not in SL? I haven’t been able to yet, but I would love to go dancing in this. When I looked up the meaning of Milonga (hmmm I have to admit, I didn’t know this word), it said an Argentine Tango. No wonder!

And as all of Mami’s outfits, the dress has a great texture which I had to show in the last pic attached.

Outfit: Styles of edo, Milonga, Tanzanite
Shoes: Stiletto Moody, Pinup (Midnight)
Hair: Cake, Faith (black)
Skin: Redgrave, Scarlett Pale Skin、smoky 4
