Italian Fashion: Anubis Style

I went to see a fashion show in which my great friend models were appearing in. It was for Anubis Style and I loved it! The show was great but as I was fearing…….I couldn’t come out of it without spending my Lindens! Argh…….

So here are the two I got. Precious Blue and Bluemoon.

Hmmm….I wonder if I was in a “blue” mood. Well, at least I wasn’t “blue” in mood at all! But for some reason, ended up getting outfits both with “blue” in their names.

Designer, Anubis Hartunian, seems to be very good at using transparent prims effectively to come up with very interesting prim skirts. Her outfits have somewhat of a dynamic image from what I saw at the show, an element I loved about her outfits.

So here they are. The two blues – Precious Blue and Bluemoon.

Alba Fashion: Awesome Italian Fashion At A Reasonable Price!

I was one of the models in “the Best of Italia presents Autumn Charm 2″ show that was shown on September 24th with Alba Fashion, Angel Skins, Anubis Style, !B Fashion, Cindy Looby, Clio pret a porter, CR Fashion, Heart Code, Libellula Burt, Sartoria Italiana and Toku Design.

The outfits were amazing!! I have always been a great fan of Italian designers but again, my love for Italian designs was renewed and even reinforced. And the stage was just awesome!! It was like an ancient Roman theatre with gorgeous texture used. I was so impressed that I took a simple snapshot.

Right after the show, after all the excitement had somewhat subsided, I visited the main store of one of the designers that was in the show; Alba Fashion. The store was a lovely sweet store with a big garden with charming flowers in the frontal area. And inside, it was even more lovely! I had always liked the outfits that alba2 Rossini made. They are, in general, very feminine with a great sense for designing but what I like about her designs is that they are so versatile. She has charming outfits full of flowers but then she will also have others that are more simple in texture and cool looking. The prices for the outfits is another thing that is so impressive. You would assume you’d be paying a lot more for outfits like this, but her outfits only cost around L$175 – 200!! I was expecting to pay at least double these prices!

So let me show you some of the outfits. It doesn’t even serve her right to only show three as her outfits are all so different but it’s still better than only showing one.

The first one is a gown. This gown was a lovely pale moss green gown and for some reason, I wanted to wear this with a very couture look, which is why I chose this particular skin and hair. It will be a lovely gown to wear to a party and look very “classy”.

Alba Fashion – Aglaia

The next one is a cocktail dress which I absolutely loved. Paying L$175 for this outfit made me feel like I was a rip off!!

Alba Fashion – Black with abstract rose silk belt

And the third one is a zebra textured outfit which I also loved!

It’s Getting Cooler And I Got A New Coat

OK, I know it’s still hot in many parts of the world, and even it places where they have winter, it’s not THAT cold yet. But my mind is starting to think jackets, coats, boots….all the fun fashion items that are good for winter (yes, yes, I know we don’t really feel any chill or heat for that matter…). That was my mind set when I spotted this new short coat from Baiastice. It wasn’t a new release, but being a serious shopaholic, any new item in my inventory is an excitement for me.

It’s particularly exciting when the item looks interesting…..by interest, I mean unusual shape, unusual colour, anything that has a unique feature to it.

This short coat from Baiastice was exactly that. Interesting shape, interesting texture, my fav colours. So how could I resist? Here I pictured myself going to a nice party on a chilly day. Not VERY cold, but cold enough to wear something as a coat but still look stylish even when I was wearing my coat.

Short coat: Baiastice, Seagull
Leggings: Mimikri, Roma Leggins (black)
Tank top: plus, Snake Top in Black (I know you can’t see it, but it’s there!)

Cool Tank Tops From Symptom

One day I came across this store called Symptom. On my first visit, I landed on a point where I saw no stores around. I first thought it hadn’t rezzed yet so I waited there….and waited…and waited and there was still no store! But then I noticed a big hole with a sign board aboe it that said “SYMPTOM” so I decided to fall into it. There it was, a store that looked more like an obscure underground base.

Intrigued by this unique store design, I walked around inside the store and found lots of really cool tank tops, T-shirts and various other items that designer Xan Pixel created for his store.

Rock City is a brand new tank top that he just launched with a very interesting texture. Red is the only colour variation sold but that’s because you can edit and change the colour to whatever colour you want. I matched it up with a pair of torn jeans and also an interesting belt I found in Izumiya, a Japanese store where most of the items are either free or super cheap like L$5.

As for the store itself, I liked the store design so much that I decided to do a photo shoot inside his store too.

I also wanted to show “Torn”, another tank top but as the name suggests, this one is torn to reveal quite a lot. I loved this tank top however, as you can wear different colours undershirts to create different images and the undershirt will show through “Torn” which is worn as a shirt laayer.
a
This time, I wore a black tank top from “plus”, which is one of my fav stores so that will will look black and white. Again the tank top is tintable so I can change the colour to whatever colour that I like.

M * A * ii * K * I Striped Strapless Black & Gold Set

It’s funny but even in SL, there are days when I feel like I want to just dress casual or on other days, I want to dress up. Now that doesn’t necessarily mean wearing ballroom gowns and today was such a day. I wanted to dress up!

So dress up I did.

When I want to dress up, I tend to choose very simple outfits because you can add more to it. On the other hand, on days I am feeling lazy, I wear outfits that almost complete the whole look so I don’t have to think about adding anything.

Today, I was feeling a little energetic so I chose Maiiki’s Striped Strapless outfit, which could be worn as shorts or as a tight mini dress both with leggings. This comes with various coloured leggings but mine had gold leggings. So with this, the theme colour became black and gold. Then I added a touch of purple and pink with my makeup and also added jewelry that could add some impact and also added an interesting hat. This hat is called the “Bird Nest Hat” from Chapeau Tres Mignon. As you can see, well………….it’s a bird’s nest all complete with eggs and a birds! This added an interesting touch to an otherwise very simple outfit.

OK, so now I am all dressed up. But…………..where should I go?

Outfit: M*A*ii*K*I, Striped Strapless Black/Gold
Hat: Chapeau Tres Mignon, Bird Nest Hat
Necklace: LeeZu Baxter Designs, La Perla black (free gift)
Bracelet: RYCA, Texture Change Bangle (Gold)
Shoes: Stiletto Moody, Pinup (patent black)
Hair: House of Heart, Dusty (black)
Skin: Minnu, MMSFair makeup2

Kouse’s Sanctum New Release: Sandrah

I have ALL the colours of Kouse’s Sanctum to show you again. I just love the feminine touch of Kouse’s gowns! With “Sandrah”, designer and creator, Kouse Singh has both solid colours and also white based gowns with a touch of different colours used which makes the gowns look very delicate and dainty.

For the top, you get a choice of long sleeves and short sleeves and after wearing all the colours, I realized that the solid colours tend to look better with long sleeves as those are more elegant, whereas the white based gowns looks sweeter with short sleeves. But that’s all an individual’s choice. You get both sleeves so try them out yourself!

So here are all the colours. Enjoy!!

Sandrah – Blood

Sandrah – Blue

Sandrah – Forest

Sandrah – Golden

Sandrah – Grape

Sandrah – Lavendar

It was so cute and sweet that I decided to take a pic as a fae using the pink Sandrah.

Freda’s Autumn Line

Well i did promise to blog about Freda’s Autumn line that has just been released 2 days ago.  Some great outfits, but i chose to blog about these two.

this is a really fun Jumpsuit.  It can look great without the prim attachments too, but the prim top adds a fun look to it….. great for catching crumbs from the mid-afternoon biscuits too!
I love the top part of the jumpsuit, and a really cute little striped number to go under it, that is ever so slightly sheer – gives it that naughty touch!
hair:  Minnu
skin: Blowpop
I also really loved this Lace dress.  It felt quite Spanish to me so i teamed it with this spanish style hair i picked up at the Hair Expo.
I couldnt resist wearing my new stockings from Stiletto Moody’s ‘Lucky’ range.  very sexy….
stockings:  Stiletto Moody
hair: Curio
skin: Blowpop
jewellery: Jems By Maeve (JBM)

Giusia Creations: Sammy in Black

Today’s outfit is Sammy in black by Giusia Creations. I love the outfits of this store as they are simple and can be worn casual as well as dressed up as I did here. Yesterday, I received a review pack from the House of Heart and I found several hair that I liked. This one, Wild Isabella, was one of them so I went to get some colours that I liked it in. The feathers on this hair is colour changeable so this will be a fun hair to match to various outfits.

The skin is a couture skin from Nomine called “couture cat eye”. It’s a beautiful skin I fell in love with the moment I wore the demo skin.

So this will be a fun party look without getting over dressed.
